Time-Critical Message - Merger

Hello OPER8 Reviews Team,

I wanted to relay this message to all of you before it reaches the press. OPER8 Reviews has been acquired by a company in a horizontal market. I say a horizontal market because they do not necessarily perform the work we do - as a matter fact few do and do it so well. The company can benefit from the talents that we bring to the table and I hope by merging we can make both companies more successful as one.

By my previous statement you can probably tell that I am excited about the merger. I understand that a few of you may be worrying about your jobs at this moment, but rest-assured, the company acquired us for what we bring to the table and the skills that each person offers. I did not want you to hear this in the news first and due to restrictions I cannot yet reveal who the parent company is. More details will follow and you will receive every piece of information as soon as possible. I did not want you to worry because propaganda does have a way of reaching media sources. I wanted you to hear it from me first, as opposed to you local news station.

I have been assured by the leadership of the parent company that they do not want to hinder our success, but rather integrate the best of what we offer into their business model. They know that they can become more successful by learning from our core competencies.

I cannot guarantee that things will not change, but I can guarantee that if you continue to offer your best, we will see positive changes and greater levels of success.

Sincerely,
Your dedicated CEO

Communicating the Vision (External Customer Relationships)

Hello,

Here at OPER8 Reviews we are all about creating an equitable work-life balance. If you have seen our product reviews you know that we are honest about the products we review. The products that score high, I use in my personnel life. Our reviewers take a professional approach to reviewing products honestly. A common question around the office is, would you use this product/service in your personal life? Due to the nature of our business we must take our personal life into work with us everyday - and really, who doesn't. The vision at OPER8 is to celebrate each of our personal lives, so each of us can be the best in our professional life. Some people in the industry call this the work-life balance. I call this integrating our personal/professional lives so that we can focus on becoming one, more complete person in each.

Thank you,
CEO at OPER8 Reviews

Dialogue about Products/Services (External Customers)

Hello,

I am the Chief Executive Officer of a consulting firm and our primary task is both trying and reviewing products/services from reputable companies, so you don't need to. During these uncertain economic times people don't have disposable incomes to spend on products and services that are sub par. Come to us at OPER8 Reviews with product suggestions to review.

Sure there are review sites and product reviews on seller's websites, but can you open a dialogue with those reviewers? Are they approachable and immediately available to your question? At OPER8 Reviews our services work both ways. We talk with product manufacturers to get the best products and we talk to you - the consumers - about those products.

Please post your product testing ideas below or talk about products that you absolutely love that other people should know about and we will take a look at them. What products do you want to know more about? What products do you use all of the time?

Thanks,
CEO of OPER8 Reviews

Working toward Creating a Shared Vision (Internal Employees)

Hello,

People have a common perception that their work life and their personal life should be separate. I agree with a portion of this idea, but not in its entirety. People bring their personal life to work with them and vice versa. We treat the matter as if we were two people, living two separate lives. In an effort to create a more realistic work-life balance, I want to create an area where we can share our success at work and our successes or enjoyment in each of our personal lives. We can only be one person and I want each and every employee to be the best person they can be professionally. Most importantly, I want people to get the most enjoyment they can out of life and be the person they can be personally.

In effort to start this "life sharing" - in all aspects - please post a comment/picture about something you enjoyed recently in your personal life or a fun story in relation to work.

I'll start this off. I went to a concert this past weekend at Golden Gate Park called Outside Lands. If you are a fan of Norah Jones you will recognize her on stage.

Remember to have fun and get the best out of your personal life, so you can bring your best to work everyday.

Thank you
